This English text is a courtesy translation. The French version is the legally binding one, and French law applies.
Data collected
- Account: email address, name, password (encrypted by our authentication provider).
- Content: courses, media and storefront settings created by Creators; Students' reading progress.
- Payment: handled entirely by Stripe. Formyza stores no banking data.
- Technical: connection logs required to operate and secure the service.
Purposes and legal basis
Data is processed in order to provide the service (performance of the contract): account creation, hosting of schools and courses, progress tracking, subscription management. It is neither sold nor used for advertising purposes.
Processors
- Supabase — database, authentication and media storage (servers in the European Union).
- Stripe — subscription payment processing.
- Vercel — application hosting.
Cookies
Formyza only uses technical session cookies, required for authentication. No advertising or third-party tracking cookie is set.
Retention period
Data is kept for as long as the account is active, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable time after deletion, subject to legal obligations (invoicing in particular).
Your rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase and port your data. To exercise it: contact@formyza.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
